about me
I live and work in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and London (King’s Cross). I am a member of Stroud Valley Artspace where I currently have my studio.
Educated in London, my professional life was in publishing and urban regeneration. I set up and ran the networking organisation Vision for London (1990-97), that included the arts. I have organised conferences, think-tanks and exhibitions.
The earlier decades of my life were spent working in publishing and urban regeneration. I had qualified academically in art history. I have continually involved myself in art and design, from clothing, homes and immediate environments, to project leader for the design of a new school building (ongoing).
In 2005 I formally studied art at Stroud College in Gloucestershire, and went on to take the Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art at Byam Shaw School of Art (Central St Martins, London). I have organised exhibitions of my own work and taken part in group exhibitions and in Stroud’s extensive Open Studios (2010).
