lost traces

I am moved by the history of humanity, the loss and achievement of peoples and individuals. I have often used historic images as the starting point for work, and enjoy writing scripts of all kinds. One project was inspired by the 19th century images of American Indians by Edward Curtis. I researched script and created a hanging made of writing and printing in different media. The photographic series of this gives a sense of layers of meaning and time.
